How Would You Like to Submit Your Family Information?

After choosing your Branch & Vow heirloom, you’ll be asked how you would like to provide the family information used to create your tree.

Choose whichever method is easiest for you. You can upload an existing GEDCOM file, complete our Family Information spreadsheet, or enter your family information directly online. You only need to use one method.

If you’re not sure which to choose, schedule your complimentary appointment to discuss your options. Book a complimentary consultation.

Upload a GEDCOM

Already have a family tree on Ancestry or another genealogy site?

You can upload a GEDCOM file containing your existing family tree. If you use Ancestry, simply export your tree and upload the downloaded ZIP file — there’s no need to reorganize or re-enter your family information.

Upload a Spreadsheet

Prefer to enter your family information in a spreadsheet?

Download our Branch & Vow Family Information Form, designed specifically for the information used to create your heirloom. Complete as much as you know, save the finished file, and upload it when you’re ready.

The workbook includes a sample, simple instructions, and a visual tree guide to help you identify where each family member belongs. Unknown names or dates can simply be left blank.

Enter Your Family Information Online

Prefer to enter your family information directly?

Use our guided online form to enter the names, dates, and family relationships for your heirloom. The form will walk you through each generation, from the couple at the center of the tree through parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.

Enter as much information as you know. If a name or date is unknown, simply leave that field blank.

If you want to collect the information before filling in the form, you can fill out these reference forms offline and then come back to enter your information.
