Stories Waiting to Be Found
Behind every family tree are people, places, choices, and stories waiting to be discovered. Branch & Vow offers personalized genealogical research to uncover family connections, solve long-standing mysteries, and bring the lives behind the names into clearer view.
Genealogical Research, Personally Undertaken
Family history rarely follows a straight line. Records disappear, names change, family stories conflict, and sometimes a single unanswered question can remain unresolved for generations.
Branch & Vow offers personalized genealogical research for families who want to know more — whether you need help completing the family tree for your heirloom or are pursuing a family-history question entirely separate from a Branch & Vow piece.
Research is personally conducted by founder Donna Miller and tailored to the information you already have, the questions you want to answer, and the records available.
How We Can Help
Research projects may include locating missing ancestors, identifying parents or family relationships, extending an existing family line, resolving conflicting information, documenting names and vital dates, and exploring the places and circumstances that shaped your family's story.
Sometimes the goal is simply to add another generation to a tree. Sometimes it begins with a question that has been passed down through a family for decades.
Every Search Begins With a Question
Tell us what you know — and what you would like to discover.
We'll review the information you already have and discuss the scope of the research before work begins. Because every family and every research question is different, projects are individually scoped rather than sold as one-size-fits-all packages.
Research for Your Branch & Vow Heirloom
You do not need a complete family tree to order a Branch & Vow heirloom.
If there are gaps in the generations you'd like included, research can be added to your project before your heirloom is created. We'll determine what additional research may be needed and discuss the scope with you before proceeding.
What You'll Receive
At the conclusion of the research, you'll receive the findings relevant to your project along with supporting sources and documentation where available.
And sometimes the most meaningful discovery isn't another name or date at all. It's the record, newspaper story, photograph, place, occupation, or unexpected detail that allows you to see an ancestor as a person rather than simply another branch on the tree.
