For Donna, genealogy has never been simply a collection of names and dates. It is the discovery of the people behind them — the places they lived, the choices they made, the lives they built, and the stories that somehow found their way to us.

Years spent researching her own family and the families of others gave Donna a deep appreciation for the extraordinary history hidden inside seemingly ordinary family trees. But she also saw that traditional genealogy rarely captured the beauty and emotion of those connections in a form meant to be displayed, shared, and passed down.

Branch & Vow grew from the desire to change that.

Combining genealogical research with a lifelong appreciation for typography, print, and beautiful objects, Donna created Branch & Vow to transform family lineage into something worthy of the stories it represents — an heirloom designed not simply to record where a family came from, but to become part of what it carries forward.

Tom brings the business and technology perspective that helps turn the Branch & Vow vision into something that can grow.

From the beginning, he understood that the idea was larger than a family tree. Together, Donna and Tom began exploring how thoughtful design, modern technology, and exceptional print craftsmanship could create an experience that remained deeply personal while making sophisticated genealogy accessible in an entirely new way.

Donna remains the genealogist and creative force behind each Branch & Vow piece, while Tom helps shape the business and technology that allow those pieces — and the stories within them — to reach the families they were created for.
